Robert Wadlow (1918-1940) The World's Tallest Man (Officially) To this day Wadlow holds the spot of the tallest man ever recorded in the Guiness book of World Records. At six months Wadlow weighed 62 pounds. At five years, five feet four inches. At thirteen he was an impressive seven feet four inches. He would eventually reach the height of eight feet, eleven and a half inches.
