George Washington Morrison Nutt (1844-1881) and Minnie Warren Commodore Nutt and Wife Minnie Warren was Lavinia (Mrs. Tom Thumb's) sister. Nutt was the rival (arch nemesis) of Tom Thumb. Nutt had an enormous crush on Lavinia Warren, but alas, she would end up with Thumb. Nutt and Minnie Warren were often rumored to be a married couple, but in reality they weren't.
