Fanny Mills (1860-1899)
The Ohio Big Foot Girl
Fanny Mills suffered from Milroy's disease which caused her feet to balloon to an enormous size. It is said that she wore size 30 shoes which reqired three goat skins to make. Despite her massive feet Fanny weighed only 115 pounds. As a publicity stunt promoters claimed that Fanny's father offered $5,000 and a well stocked farm to anyone who would wed his daughter. The truth was that Fanny's father had already passed away, and there was no $5,000 or a farm.
