Franz Taaibosh (1857-1940)
Clico,The Wild South African Dancing Bushman In a time where people didn't know much about the world outside of their very own, an African Bushman seemed very extraordinary. Franz was believed to have been born into captivity on a farm. Because of his short stature and proclivity for dancing the farmer decided to exhibit him as a wildman. He eventually wound up in the USA working with Ringling Bros as well as at Coney Island.
