Chang and Eng Bunker (1811-1874) )
Siamese Twins Chang and Eng are the reason why today conjoined twins are referred to as Siamese twins. They were born in Siam, and had fifteen other brothers and sisters.Chang liked to drink, Eng liked to gamble. These behaviors lead to many a brutal fight between the two. They retired from exhibition in 1838 after having amassed a pretty nice retirement fund. They met and married 2 sisters. Between them they fathered 22 children.
