Willie Camper (1924-1943) Giant Hailing from Memphis, Guicel "Willie" Camper was a big guy. He is said to have reached a height of 8'6" and weighed as much as 480 pounds, although it's widely believed that it is an exaggerated height. In 1943 Camper suffered a heart attack during a performance, and died at the age of 19.
