Alice Doherty (1887-1933) The Minnesota Woolly Baby Alice suffered from hypertrichosis. A genetic mutation that causes an excessive growth of hair. Although originally dubbed The Minnesota Woolly Baby, she was more commonly known as Alice the Wonder.
